Heather C. Martz, LCSW
I am a licensed therapist in Colorado trained in EMDR and Trauma Dynamics (a somatic trauma recovery model). I obtained my Master's in Social Work from the University of Denver where I studied clinical social work, trauma, and aging issues. I have worked in community mental health, hospice, and residential care for adolescents, and now own a private practice serving clients in the metro-Denver and Castle Rock area.
I incorporate a variety of treatment modalities tailored to the individual goals of my clients. Specifically, I use strength-based goal-setting, DBT skills training, an integrative health and wellness model, stress reduction techniques, attachment-focused EMDR, ego-state parts work, and trauma-informed strategies that best address childhood trauma, dissociation, and complex-PTSD.
